The Appendices are a number of extra content features added to Gideon the Ninth with the release of the paperback on 14 July 2020 and Harrow the Ninth with the release of the paperback on 21 September, 2021. They primarily serve to expand on the world of the Locked Tomb and provide new information of its characters.

A Sermon on Cavaliers and Necromancers[]
Credited to "the collected works of M. Bias," this sermon extemporizes on the nature of the bond between a necromancer and their cavalier, and the modern corruption of this bond including granting the title of cavalier to unskilled swordsmen and romantic relationships between necromancer and cavalier.
Cohort Intelligence Files[]
An intelligence report assembled by Judith Deuteros ahead of the events of Gideon the Ninth, these files include many details on the childhood training of the postulants at Canaan House and the Captain's estimation of their character.
A Little Explanation of Naming Systems[]
This appendix contains information on the naming systems present in the culture of the Nine Planets System, as well as a pronunciation guide and explanation for Muir's thought process in naming her characters.
